I am a local Mum of 3, one of the 3 Labour councillors in Furzedown ward and Deputy Leader of the Wandsworth Labour Group. I sit on the Housing Committee at Wandsworth Council.

I used to be a journalist and until he was elected as Mayor of London last year I used to work for Sadiq Khan.

The 3 Labour councillors hold 2 surgeries a month in the ward (excluding August) on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 11:30am-12:30 at the Furzedown Project (1st Saturday) and St Albans Church (3rd Saturday). Both venues are fully accessible. My next surgery will be February 4th at The Project on Moyser Road. No appointment necessary, just turn up!

Local organisations I am involved in:

I am a committee member of the Furzedown Community Network (FCN) and a supporter Friends of Tooting Common. I helped set up the Furzedown Oak Project¬† and the Friends of Furzedown Rec. I used to be the Chair of Furzedown School’s PTA.

In the wake of the EU referendum, I set up the Wandsworth European Cultural Network which holds film nights with a European theme in the borough and I am a member of Wandsworth Welcomes Refugees.
